Check in

Welcome at your new WOW apartment! It is our highest goal to make your stay as perfect as possible. Here some useful information for your check in.

SELF CHECK IN

1. The front door and the apartment can be opened by code
2. You will receive the entry code min. 24 hours before arrival
3. After entering the code, the front door and the apartment can be opened
4. The apartment number and floor are specified in the contract

Despite the self check in, we would like to welcome you personally after your arrival, so we can answer all your questions and give you the most important information about the apartment and the building.

Restaurants / Café

Right on your doorstep at Europaalleee, you will find a variety of restaurants and bars.
For even more options, we recommend the following: 

Kennedy's Irish Pub - authentic atmosphere with a wide selection of beers, whiskeys and hearty dishes. Lively spot for after-work drinks and live sports.

Cantinetta Antinori - combines Tuscan elegance with Italian culinary tradition (no pizza or pasta), ideal for lunch or dinner

Zeughauskeller - swiss cuisine in a lively, rustic setting inside a former 15th-century armory

Hiltl - the oldest vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Zurich

Shopping

At Zurich’s main train station, you will also find an underground shopping area with a wide range of stores and services.

The small COOP grocery store, across the street, at the «Europaallee Passage» is perfect to grab all the essentials for a fast grocery shop.

Nearby is a big supermarket, the Migros grocery store. Here you can buy all kinds of food and everyday consumer goods.

HOUSE RULES

To make living together a pleasure for everyone, there are a few house rules.
 

  • General night rest is at 10 pm

  • Please respect your neighbours

  • Please keep the hallway and common areas free of personal belongings

  • Please ventilate the apartment twice a day

  • Please use the kitchen ventilation while cooking

  • Please leave the door open after using the oven so the steam can escape

  • In order to prevent burn marks, please do not put any hot pans on the kitchen tray or the dining table

LETTERS & PARCELS

Your letterbox is labelled and located in the entrance area. You can open and close it with the designated code. The code pad is next to the elevator. We kindly ask you to empty the letterbox from time to time.​

In Switzerland, postal deliveries typically take place in the morning, although parcels may occasionally be delivered later in the afternoon.


If no one is available to receive the delivery, the parcel will either be placed in the designated parcel box on site or deposited at the nearest post office, located only a three-minute walk away.
Once the package is placed in the parcel box, you will receive a message with the pick up code. Simply select your apartment on the display next to the main entrance and enter the code. The parcel box door will then open automatically.

STORAGE

We offer you the possibility to store your luggage in a common cellar. This cellar can be used by every guest in the house and is free of charge.
Should you wish to have a private cellar, we can provide you with one for a fee of CHF 50. Please contact us.
