Welcome at your new WOW Apartment! It is our highest goal to make your stay as perfect as possible. Here some useful information for your check in.

SELF CHECK IN

1. Code for key per email (3 days before arrival)
2. Get key from keybox with the code
3. Key works for letter box, main door and apartment
4. Apartment number and floor is dated on the contract

Despite the self check in, we would like to welcome you personally on the next working day, so we can answer all your questions and give you the most important information about the apartment and the building.

Café Bar Rosenkranz - lovely and cozy coffee, good for an afterwork beer

Restaurant Milchhüsli - swiss and european kitchen, good for lunch or dinner

Taverne Johann - fancy and delicious kitchen, good for lunch or dinner

Kultur Kaffi Bâle - sociable and inviting coffee place, great to meet people and explore

Bierjohann - beer culture and simple but good food, good place for beer lovers

Shopping

Directly across the street is the Migros grocery store. Here you can buy all kinds of food and everyday consumer goods.

A little cheaper and smaller is the grocery shop Denner, another shopping possibility in the immediate proximity of your flat.

HOUSE RULES

To make living together a pleasure for everyone, there are a few house rules.

General night rest is at 10 pm
Please respect your neighbours
Please keep the hallway and common areas free of personal belongings
Please ventilate the apartment twice a day
Please use the kitchen ventilation while cooking
Please leave the door open after using the oven so the steam can escape
In order to prevent burn marks, please do not put any hot pans on the kitchen tray or dining table

LETTERS & PARCELS

Your letterbox is labelled and located in the entrance area. You can open and close it with your apartment key. We kindly ask you to empty the letterbox from time to time.

The postman always arrives between 8-10 a.m. in Switzerland. Parcels can sometimes also be delivered later in the afternoon. If you are not at home, the postman will either leave the parcel in the entrance area or deposit it at the post office close by (3min walk).

STORAGE

We offer you the possibility to store your luggage in a common cellar. This cellar can be used by every guest in the house and is free of charge.
Should you wish to have a private cellar, we can provide you with one for a fee of CHF 50. Please contact us.
