Check in

Welcome at your new WOW Apartment! It is our highest goal to make your stay as perfect as possible. Here some useful information for your check in.

SELF CHECK IN

1. The front door and the apartment can be opened by code
2. You will receive the entry code min. 24 hours before arrival
3. After entering the code, the front door and the apartment can be opened, the first door you see when trying to enter the apartment is not locked
4. The apartment number and floor are specified in the contract

Despite the self check in, we would like to welcome you personally after your arrival, so we can answer all your questions and give you the most important information about the apartment and the building.

Santa Lucia - classic Italian restaurant chain

Cantinetta Antinori - traditional italian kitchen (no pizza or pasta) good for lunch or dinner

Zeughauskeller - swiss cuisine, good for lunch or dinner

Hiltl - the oldest vegetarian and vegan restaurant in Zurich

Napa Grill - beer culture and simple but good food, good place for beer lovers

eat.ch - in case you just like to order something online

Uber Eats - in case you just like to order something online from uber

Shopping

In about 7min by feet you can reach Sihlcity, a large shopping centre with various shops (clothes, household, electronics, etc.)

In "Niederdörfli" you can find diverse traditional and creative boutiques.

Bahnhofstrasse, the largest and most famous shopping street in Zurich - from H&M/ Zara to COS/ Massimo Tutti to Louis Vuitton/ Prada is located in the centre of Zurich.

There is also a smaller and a little more expensive grocery store called "Migrolino" right next to the apartment.

HOUSE RULES

To make living together a pleasure for everyone, there are a few house rules.
 

  • General night rest is at 10 pm

  • Please respect your neighbours

  • Please keep the hallway and common areas free of personal belongings

  • Please ventilate the apartment twice a day

  • Please use the kitchen ventilation while cooking

  • Please leave the oven door open after using the oven so the steam can escape

  • In order to prevent burn marks, please do not put any hot pans on the kitchen tray or the dining table

LETTERS & PARCELS

Your letterbox is labelled and located in the entrance area. You can open and close it with the designated key placed in your apartment. We kindly ask you to empty the letterbox from time to time.

The postman always arrives between 8-10 a.m. in Switzerland. Parcels can sometimes also be delivered later in the afternoon. If you are not at home, the postman will either leave the parcel in the entrance area or deposit it at the post office close by (10min walk).

STORAGE

We offer you the possibility to store your luggage in a common cellar. This cellar can be used by every guest in the house and is free of charge.
Should you wish to have a private cellar, we can provide you with one for a fee of CHF 50. Please contact us.
